Furniture and appliance removal in Metro Vancouver

One heavy thing in the wrong place. Couches that will not go down the stairwell, mattresses nobody will collect, a fridge that died last winter. Two of us come, lift it properly and take it to the right place.

Know the range before we come. Know the exact price before we lift.

priced by how much of the cube van you fill — simple and transparent

Every job is priced by volume: how much space your junk takes up in our 14-foot cube van. One full van holds roughly six pickup truck loads. The price you are quoted covers the labour, the loading and the dump and recycling fees — nothing is added afterwards. You point. We haul. You never need to lift a thing. Want to save 10%? Give us a hand loading. Prefer not to lift a thing? No problem — we've got it.

Who furniture and appliance removal is best for

  • People replacing a couch, bed or appliance
  • Condo residents dealing with elevator bookings
  • Landlords clearing one item between tenants
  • Anyone who tried and decided not to hurt their back

This is for one or two big pieces. If you have a mixed pile as well, household junk removal covers both in the same visit at the load price.

What is included

  • Two-person lift for sofas, beds and appliances
  • Stairs, elevators and tight hallways handled
  • Doors and floors protected on the way out
  • Mattresses and appliances taken to the correct recycling program
  • Same-day pickup may be available — send a photo and check availability

What is not normally included

So there are no surprises, these fall outside this service:

  • Hazardous waste: paint, solvents, fuel, propane tanks, asbestos
  • Biohazard, medical or chemical waste
  • Vehicles, boats and anything requiring a tow
  • Structural demolition or anything needing a permit
  • Bulk soil, concrete or dirt beyond a few loads' weight limit

Optional add-ons

Any of these can be added when you request a quote or by message before your pickup.

  • Hot tub removal
  • Shed or playset dismantling
  • Deck or fence tear-out
  • Garage floor cleared right to the walls
  • Donation drop-off on your behalf
  • Appliance disconnection (unplug and cap only)
  • Storage locker clear-out
  • A second pair of hands for very heavy items (when scheduling allows)

How the service works

  1. Tell us the item and the floor it is on
  2. We quote the single-item or minimum-load price up front
  3. We protect the route and carry it out
  4. Mattresses, metal and appliances go to their recycling streams

How long does it take

Single-item pickups are usually 15 to 30 minutes on site. Stairs, elevators and long carries add time, so tell us the floor when you book.

How to prepare

  • Empty drawers and remove loose cushions
  • Clear the route from the item to the door
  • Unplug appliances and defrost freezers the night before
  • Book the elevator if your building requires it

Questions about furniture and appliance removal

Do you take mattresses?

Yes, and they go to a mattress recycling program rather than the landfill.

Can you disconnect my washer or fridge?

We unplug and cap simple connections. Plumbing and gas work needs a licensed trade.

My couch will not fit through the door. Now what?

We take doors off hinges and, if it is the only way out, cuts the frame down on site.
