What the price covers
- Flat-pack and bed-frame disassembly where a piece will not clear the doorway
- Separate handling for donatable pieces, which travel unstacked so they arrive usable
- Glass tops, mirrors and marble handled and disposed of separately from the general load
- Careful removal, right down to the dust line the piece leaves behind
Getting ready for the pickup
- Empty drawers and shelves. A loaded dresser is heavier than it looks, and the contents almost always include things you meant to keep.
- Decide in advance what is donation and what is disposal — we can keep the two apart in the truck, but only if you tell us before we load.
- Particleboard flat-pack furniture rarely survives a move and is not donatable; solid wood, in good condition, usually is.
- If you are staging or selling, book the pickup for the day before photos rather than the morning of.
Furniture removal in Coquitlam: what to expect locally
- Burquitlam and Coquitlam Centre towers: expect to book the service elevator; parkade clearance is often under 2.1 m.
- Westwood Plateau and Eagle Ridge: steep driveways mean we may back in rather than turn on the street.
- Three-storey family homes: top-floor bedroom furniture is normal and stairs never change the price.
- Multi-room clear-outs price as a load — a furnished bedroom and family room is typically a half load.

Furniture removal questions from Coquitlam
My Westwood Plateau driveway is steep and narrow. Is that a problem?
No, it is most of the neighbourhood. We back in where turning is not realistic and carry the extra distance if the truck has to sit at the street. What we do want is a photo of the driveway from the road, because that tells us whether to plan a longer carry — it never changes what you pay.
Can you clear furniture from a Burquitlam tower without me booking the elevator?
Only the resident can reserve a service elevator, so that part is yours. Everything else is ours: send us the window and the loading-bay location and we plan the visit inside it, including whether the truck can enter the parkade or has to work from street level.
Do you donate furniture instead of dumping it?
Where a piece is clean, structurally sound and actually wanted, yes — we keep it separate in the truck so it arrives in a condition a charity will accept. What we will not do is promise a donation to make a quote feel better: upholstered items with stains, damage or smoke exposure and most particleboard furniture get refused at the door, and those go to the transfer station.
Can I add pieces on the day if I find more?
Yes. Load size is confirmed on arrival before anything is lifted, so if you have found two more chairs since sending photos we re-price then and there and you approve it before we start. There is no change fee — the volume simply moves up a tier if it needs to.
